Valencia's style
This is how things are done in Valencia. They allow nice and typical buildings, with their own characteristic architectural style, to degrade until they need to be completely demolished.
Meanwhile, adjacent buildings degrade as well, and neighbours, if there's still any neighbour left, have to abandon their houses for security.
